I made this using the mac’s shift-control-command-4 shortcut, which takes a screenshot of a selected area and then adds it to your clipboard, allowing you to paste it wherever you want.

global warming

Posted in Uncategorized on January 11, 2010 by greenmile96

Global warming is happening, yes, but it has nothing to do with humans.  If you look at graphs of global temperatures over the last few billion years, it rises and falls in a series of global “hotspots” and ice ages.  At this moment, we are on a hump, saying carbon dioxide is trapping heat and warming up the planet.  In a few thousand years, people will be in a valley and be saying that carbon dioxide is blocking heat and blah-dee-blah-dee-blah.  All lies.  It’s all natural, all the time.

Right now, I just kicked my brother off the computer. So, I was using it, right? And then he comes up and says, “hey Max, get off the computer, I have to do homework.” So I left, and then, just out of curiosity, I came back about thirty seconds later to see what he was doing. And you know what I find? He’s sitting there, playing some random MMORPG with all of his loser geek friends from school. So then, I say, “hey Ben, I have to do some homework.” So he gets off, and now, he’s standing by the door peeking around every time I look at the screen to see if I’m not playing games. So now, I’m just gonna type for a while, just to make him annoyed. And he left, so I’m gonna stop typing now, maybe go play some Modern Warfare 2.

Disconnected Kids: a few words on the topic…

Posted in Uncategorized on December 5, 2009 by greenmile96

This book is a lousy piece of (insert word here).  Basically, it says that if your kid(teenager, really) is too stupid to even walk on its own (not including those who are disabled), can’t speak, and is too stupid for school, that they have a mental disability. (No duh).  Also, if your kid fuctions just like a normal person, with friends and interests and everthing normal, they have a mental disability.  ???????????????.  Basically, if you read the book, your kid has something wrong with him/her. ?????????.  Wow.

AOW week 13

Posted in AOW on December 3, 2009 by greenmile96

2. Kathy and George Norris were the subjects of a government investigation because they were importing flowers without correctly completing the paperwork to import them. Basically, George served almost two years in prison because he couldn’t figure out how all the paperwork worked. He was locked up because the government has added ridiculous amounts of paperwork to the task of buying flowers overseas. He was part of a government investigation because he did not properly fill out all the paperwork.

5. No, it is not a good use of money to investigate cases like Mr. Norris. Nor is he a criminal for improperly filing paperwork. Now, if he were to be importing terrorists, then he would have a reason to have money spent investigating him, and yes, he would be a criminal. But, he was importing flowers. Just because someone can’t figure out the maze that is paperwork doesn’t mean they should be a criminal.

Reflection

This article is about a man who was charged with illegally importing orchids. The whole situation is a bit stupid, to say the least. I mean, somebody went to jail just because they couldn’t figure out how to fill out the miles and miles and miles of paperwork that he had to fill out. The government needs to do something about all the aperwork they have people do. Lots of people are feeling the heat. Lobstermen, (yes, TV does teach you something)farmers, and pretty much anyone who imports anything is starting to feel the heat. The government is getting closer and closer to absolute control over our lives than I think anyone is comfortable with.
